Orlando's Premiere Ensemble for Contemporary Music

The Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra (OCCO) is committed to engaging, captivating, and uplifting listeners through the performance of new music at the very highest level. Its programming showcases innovative and adventurous works by living composers, brought to life by central Florida's finest professional musicians. Since its founding in 2016, OCCO has given dozens of world and regional premieres and presented innovative collaborations with poets, game designers, comic book artists, and more.

Todd Craven, Music Director

Mr. Craven’s accomplishments include First Prize in the 2019 Los Angeles Conducting Competition, Assistant Conductor positions with the Buffalo Philharmonic and Florida Grand Opera. Other conducting highlights include engagements with the Detroit Symphony, Toledo Symphony, Edmonton Symphony, Peabody Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Theatre at Illinois and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

OCCO is sponsored by Performing Arts Matter, or PAM. PAM's mission is to provide a means for creative people in Central Florida to express themselves through performance art and music. PAM is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization determined that the arts continues to play an integral role in helping establish and maintain a cultural identity to community members, participants and partners.
